It was taken just outside of our office. Every morning villagers bring various animal feed from the fields to sell to the people of Aqcha. In the past two weeks the place was most of the days empty, because the villages were snowed in. How do these people survive in such harsh conditions? They just tackle their perons tighter into belts, pull their patus over their heads and wait for the spring. And spring always comes...

Yes, it certainly does look like a hard life. This photo is fantastic as an illustration of their life, their dress and transportation. That loaded camel is amazing.
