Eggs of war

I was puzzled over seeing red colored eggs selling at the Big bazaar. Egg seller always was surround by young very excitable boys. I asked one Afghan friend and was told that these red eggs are fighting eggs. Boys make bets. Then they hit each other's egg with their own egg, and the egg that don't crack wins!
