Bicycles are not widely used in NW of Afghanistan where we live. But if one owns a bicycle it becomes kind of a family loom, cherished and loved to bits. The clay water pipes have been used for 1000s of years, and they still make them at our local pottery. They must be in demand because I see potter keep making them.
