Once I saw these boys were trying to kill a puppy in the river. My heart went out for the poor pup, but then I felt that I should be crying for these boys, because it's not a natural thing for boys killing puppies. These boys were victims of war and poverty, and they didn't know anything better. So, my husband and I befriended them. They were children, who needed to be loved.

the question was, did they do it for fun or for food? I am certain that you will change their attitudes soon.

@Dimitrios: Good question. They did it for money to buy food. There were many street dogs with puppies, and sometimes people payed these boys little money to get rid of them.
wow ur story is indeed moving.thnks so much for sharing with us!=)

@Sandrine: Thanks, Sandrine. You are so right about what these boys had to do to survive.
Thank You for bringing us this reality in the world, a world we forget about in our day to day travels. A world we are really not helping to get any better, I'm not proud to say. Hard to be a 'proud' American these days! Again thank you and your husband for all you are doing or trying to do...

Sad reality that the innocence of children is ravaged by the cruelty that exists in our world.
