We are back to Kabul after being away for two weeks on non-working holiday. Many sad things happened while we were away, but life is going on... This is one of our corner shops. I want to thank you all for your comments. I was not able to reply to you, but I really appreciated your encouragement.

the kid is funny waiting outside the shop - just like any board teenager working here in America - i like the city buildings in the mountains, thats just beautiful.

Yes, we had thought of you as the sadness flared up again. This is a remarkable and touching image and, like Rabbit says, the lingering kid is a universal tag, it seems.
