Thursday is special day in our town - it's Big market day, which attracts everyone and where sells everything. This young fellow often is seen selling anything from cucumbers to melons. He works hard and proved to be honest.

Are you Soujourner's wife? I've been hoping to see more of his photos and wondered why he hasn't posted in a while. Anyhow, this is a nice photo. You have an eye for people. This boy has an honest face so it's nice that he proved honest too. Other nice ones: the laundry, and more.

@Pixadilly: We work together in the same NGO. Now, as he is back from his holidays, you'll see his posting again, I am sure.
I have been following you blog for a while and I shall say that you are doing a wonderful job both at taking picture as well as helping out a broken nation, God gives you strength.
I am Persian and we have the same kind of melon in Iran, we call it "Talebi". They have yellow and green interior. Very sweet and nice.
This boy is very innocent, and you have captured that well.
